Friends from England came to visit us today. We decided to take them to the Cattaro stairs. At first it was overcast and raining, but then it cleared up. Let's go to the village Negushi<\/a>. How much she has changed in these two weeks that we have not been here! The snow melted, green grass came out, snowdrops and crocuses - beauty.<\/p>\n

At the very beginning of the village we stopped at a lonely church. Entire fields with blooming crocuses and snowdrops spread around it. The church itself was, as usual, closed.<\/p>\n

First of all, we took our friends to our favorite Zora pub.<\/p>\n

The owners and at the same time the working staff of this institution are father Nikola and son Michko. Very hospitable and pleasant people. We again ordered their own prsut (from Italian \u201cprsutto\u201d - smoked meat; there is no connection with the Russian word \u201clousy\u201d \ud83d\ude42), Negush cheese, pickles, dried sausages, kaymak (something like curd cheese that you can smear for bread) and red wine. Even our English friends noted the high quality of these products.<\/p>\n

Then Nikola took us to his treasury - a place where prosciutto is smoked and dried. First, they salt the meat, then hang it and smoke it for a month, then they dry it there for 2-3 months. Prosciutto prepared in this way can be stored at room temperature for up to a year. When we left, Nikola gave us a bottle of his wine!<\/p>\n
