Today in Kotor it is again cloudy and variable precipitation. Tired of sitting at home. I remembered that I read in the guidebook that there is a good beach on the Adriatic not far - in the town of Bigova, about 15 minutes from Kotor. We decided to go and explore this Bigova on the eve of the beach season. The turn to Bigova is located on the well-known E65 highway, which leads to Budva. On the right side, an arrow with the inscription Bigova and a floating man clearly hinted at the right turn. As is usually the case in Montenegro, we had to overcome several steep mountain turns before we overcame the pass separating us from the sea, and a tiny cove opened up to our eyes - after consulting Google maps in advance, we unmistakably found out that this is Bigova. Having safely passed through the narrow streets, designed for no more than one car, without meeting a hitchhiker, we ended up, apparently, on the central embankment.<\/p>\n

True, we did not find sun loungers here and even sand, and even pebbles, which, by the way, did not really surprise us. We noticed that in the area of the Bay of Kotor, beaches are often understood as paved embankments, where, apparently, sun loungers will appear in the summer. So far, we have noticed only one fisherman and a lot of fishing tackle. There was a strong smell of fish everywhere. In Montenegro, in general, there are many fishermen from whom you can immediately buy fish. It's nice to see that fish in Montenegro is caught, and not just sold in a supermarket.<\/p>\n

We passed the main promenade, and now it looks like there are local beaches in Bigov:<\/p>\n

The shores, of course, are beautiful - let's see how vacationers will swim and sunbathe here in the summer \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I complete the photo report with a photo of a cow - such meetings are not uncommon in Montenegro - then goats, then cows, then lambs.<\/p>\n
