The Mimosa Festival \u2013 is one of Montenegro's main festivals. We'd long heard about the Mimosa Festival, which is usually held in February near Herceg Novi. So, of course, we decided to check it out ourselves. It's held in the surrounding area. Herceg Novi<\/a> (or rather in Baosici, Kumbor, Dzhenovichi) for 44 years. It is held in honor of the flowering of bright, beautiful and elegant mimosa, and its flowering symbolizes the arrival of spring (in early February ... not bad, right? \ud83d\ude42) The festival lasts a whole week, during which musical evenings, exhibitions, theater performances, masquerade and, of course , festivities.<\/p>\n

We arrived in Kumbor, there were a lot of people. Wine and brandy flowed freely and completely free of charge, all guests were treated to delicious fried fish - bleak; gave bouquets with mimosa. It is even difficult to imagine something similar in Russia.
\nAt this holiday, for the first time, I saw pretty tipsy Montenegrins; it\u2019s hard to resist when wine and brandy are handed out by the glass! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Two glasses of wine are much better than one glass!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Now I am not only familiar with the Mimosa salad (and I understand why it is yellow :)), but also with a whole festival dedicated to this bright harbinger of spring!<\/p>\n

This little one was also lucky; he ate fish for a whole year!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
