I continue a series of articles on the description of the beaches in Montenegro (read about the beaches of the Budva Riviera Here<\/a>). Today I would like to introduce you to the magnificent sandy beach, which is located in the bay Melt Horizonti<\/strong>, which received such a name in connection with the hotel of the same name that existed here earlier. Plavi Horizonti means \u201cblue horizons\u201d in Serbian, and it\u2019s true: you can admire the sea horizon, enclosed in rocky shores, overgrown with dense forest, endlessly.<\/p>\n

Now some vital and useful information about Plavi Horizonti beach. Quite a large bay completely covered with fine sand, the entrance to the sea is very smooth, ideal for children and adults. There are no settlements in the immediate vicinity of the bay, but the beach itself is equipped: there is a large cafe of national cuisine, and paid sunbeds with umbrellas. However, there is plenty of free space if you would like to sit on a towel or with your sunbed. The beach is surrounded by coniferous forest, which gives a pleasant shade around the perimeter during the midday heat - a great place to relax near the water and in nature for the whole day. Along the perimeter of the bay there are walking paths where you can take a walk and find more secluded beaches and slopes to the sea, built directly on the stones (you can jump into the sea from the stones, and in some places there are ladders similar to those that are placed for descending in the pools). Oh yeah, I almost missed the point! How to get to the treasured beach? Plavi Horizonti beach is located on the Lustica peninsula, a 15-minute drive from Tivat and Kotor. Entry to the beach is paid - 2-3 euros per car. At the fork - a roundabout - to Tivat - Kotor - Budva, which is not far from the Tivat airport and the Voli supermarket, turn aside to Krasici, the Lustica Bay signs point there, then follow the signs to Plavi Horizonti - they are at all significant forks.
