My today's opus is dedicated to grief Belasitsa <\/strong>V Montenegro<\/strong>, on the territory of which the Biogradska Gora nature reserve is located. I confess honestly, in the reserve Biogradska Gora<\/strong> until last week, I was only once three years ago, when we arrived at the famous lake - Lake Biograd, which has nothing to do with Belgrade, as many people think as a result of the consonance of names. Finally, on the last weekend, I had the opportunity to join the local climbing club on a hike to the highest point of this very Belasitsa - Crna Chapter<\/strong> (meaning "Black Head") at an altitude of 2,139 meters above sea level. The beauty of this place goes without saying; it's no wonder that back in the late 19th century, Prince Nikola designated the area around Lake Biogradsko as a nature reserve. Today, Lake Biogradsko, with its 630 square meters of forest, is part of the Biogradska Gora National Park. It's one of only two (!) remaining primeval forests in Europe; it's home to 22 plant species found only in the Balkans and nowhere else in the world; it's also home to a number of endangered bird and animal species, such as the golden eagle, the hawk, the European roe deer, and others; and the mountain's surface is adorned with so-called "mountain eyes"\u2014glacial lakes, of which there are as many as six on Bjelasica! The largest of these is the greenish Biogradsko Lake, the most easily accessible to tourists. Wooden bungalows are built along the lake's shores, offering overnight accommodations in unique ecological conditions. In winter, Belasitsa attracts winter sports enthusiasts thanks to its ski resort. Kolasin 1450<\/strong>, and in the summer - lovers hiking, hiking, jeep safari in Montenegro<\/strong> and just connoisseurs of nature, photographers, and of course connoisseurs of healthy food - after all, only in the mountains you can taste the purest cheese, milk and meat. Every year, the tourist trails of Belasitsa attract thousands of fans to wander with a backpack on their shoulders and with a guitar in their hands, sing songs by the fire and admire the real starry sky, which is so rarely seen nowadays.
