There are both good and bad sides to being on your own. If everything is clear with the good ones, then the negative ones are somewhat annoying, and if you do not prepare for them in advance, they plunge you into despondency. The decision to spend a vacation in Montenegro without buying a ticket with booking accommodation via the Internet was quite spontaneous. As for excursions, I did not think lightly, deciding that I would figure it out on the spot. I have to say, in October it's quite problematic. There are few tourists, local companies organizing excursions refuse to break away from a pleasant conversation and a cup of tea for you, as they work with groups, not with singles.
At some point, I was close to despair. Kotor, of course, is a beautiful place, but ... And then Ksyusha called me with an offer to go to Dubrovnik with another tourist. It was almost a private tour. I remember the sea of extraordinary beauty, the city, as from fairy tales, and the complete absence of discomfort. Subsequent excursions to Lake Skadar, to Negushi and others were not long in coming.
Perhaps you should hold back your emotions and list what you liked:
1. Attention to your desires - the route is not rigidly set, it can vary within reason.
2. Information - in most excursions, the non-stop eruption of information is very annoying, from which the head already hurts by the end, and the surroundings are poorly perceived. What a relief it was to realize this time that no one was going to give you more than you were willing to take in!
3. Nobody is in a hurry. And this allows you to get the most out of your walks!
In general, thank you very much! This vacation was wonderful. I remember him with a smile.
