Friends from England came to visit us today. We decided to take them to the Cattaro stairs. At first it was overcast and raining, but then it cleared up. Let's go to the village Negushi. How much she has changed in these two weeks that we have not been here! The snow melted, green grass came out, snowdrops and crocuses - beauty.

crocuses

At the very beginning of the village we stopped at a lonely church. Entire fields with blooming crocuses and snowdrops spread around it. The church itself was, as usual, closed.

First of all, we took our friends to our favorite Zora pub.

Then Nikola took us to his treasury - a place where prosciutto is smoked and dried. First, they salt the meat, then hang it and smoke it for a month, then they dry it there for 2-3 months. Prosciutto prepared in this way can be stored at room temperature for up to a year. When we left, Nikola gave us a bottle of his wine!

We went back through the city of Cetinje. Read the difficult but interesting history of this city and its sights in our guidebook.
