I think many would be interested to know the prices of food in Montenegro, so that you can at least roughly calculate your future expenses.
In general, prices are about the same as in any city in Russia (except Moscow). But the quality of the products is much higher. Bread is much more expensive - apparently because there are no vast fields here, as we have in Russia, which could be sown with wheat; so they buy wheat from other countries (I think so). The cost of a loaf fluctuates around 70 cents; black bread is only imported, and costs from 1.20 to 2.00 euros.

So, the prices for other products in Montenegro:

Juice (nectar) - 0.59 euros;
Smoked sausage - 9.29 euros;
Negush sausage - 6.09 euros;
Ham - 2.69 euros;
Milk - 0.79 euros;
Drinking yogurt - 0.57 euros;
Feta cheese - 1.19 euros;
Butter - 1.95 euros;
Spaghetti - 0.64 euros;
Ketchup - 0.89 euros;
Rice - 1.35 euros;
Beer Bavaria - 0.69 euros;
Beer Niksicko (2 liters) - 2 euros (this is the most popular beer of local production);
Red wine Vranac - 2.50.

We study the prices for products of the local supermarket Roda

It is better to buy meat in butcher shops (mesara) - it is always fresh there. In many butcher shops, and even in some supermarkets, where it says “free rostile”, you will grill your meat for free! If you want a quick and inexpensive snack, order yourself one piece of meat and a bun; fried meat will be put in a bun, ketchup will be poured there (sometimes they put onions) and, voila, a super fresh sandwich is ready! 🙂 It will cost from 2.5 to 3 euros.
