We continue our series of articles on immigration to Montenegro for Russians. If you love Montenegro and want to live and work here, then all this is feasible with the right approach. It is not so difficult to apply for a residence permit and get a stamp in your passport confirming the presence of a boreva in Montenegro (it was written about in previous articles: how much it costs and when is it better, read Here and Here), therefore, having completed the formalities, within a month you will already be almost a full-fledged resident of this hospitable and sunny country. One of the central pressing issues will be the financial support of your holiday-life in Montenegro, especially since living here, you so often want to feel like a carefree tourist! So, how to find a job in Montenegro? What to live on? What is the average salary in Montenegro? Maybe open your own business? But what? There are many questions, and you can only give yourself the final answer, and we will try to provide all possible assistance.
1. The average salary in Montenegro ranges from 500 euros per month. At the same time, the minimum wage is at around 156 euros, the same amount is equal to the minimum pension in Montenegro. Taking into account the fact that food and life in general in Montenegro are cheaper than in Russia (not to mention Moscow!) For 150-200 euros, it is quite possible to feed yourself, even periodically visiting cafes and restaurants!
2. Seasonal work appears in summer due to the influx of tourists, respectively, there are additional jobs - a great opportunity to earn extra money for students! Seasonal vacancies usually involve an additional percentage of transactions, tickets sold, cars returned, etc.
3. You can start your own business. The infrastructure of modern Montenegro is less developed than, for example, in Russia, there are a lot of free niches, the level of provision of many services is quite low. In addition, Montenegrin spontaneity and sometimes laziness leave our compatriots considerable room for maneuver. What business? Here, everyone decides in their own way. According to statistics, about 30% of foreign companies opened on the territory of Montenegro are owned by Russian citizens. Some of them, of course, are open exclusively for receiving Boravka and do not really work, but a large proportion of our compatriots are actively working and developing their own business in Montenegro: these are Internet projects, and construction, tourism, restaurants, and so on. With the right approach, such a business brings good money.
4. A significant part of our compatriots temporarily residing on the territory of Montenegro has income outside of Montenegro - this is either a different kind freelance and remote workor an operating business in Russia.
