I have been living in Montenegro for more than 8 years, so I know the prices by heart. The currency in Montenegro is the euro, although the country is not part of the euro zone, such a paradox. Accidentally found my old blog post from 2014, where I listed the prices of some products and was extremely surprised that the prices have not changed much! Inflation in the country is at its lowest level.

So on 10 euro you can buy the following products:

— Bread 1 euro,

– Chicken thighs 1 kg – 2.5 euros,

- Apples 1 kg - 50 cents,

- Flour 1 kg - 50 cents,

- Eggs 10 pieces - 1 euro,

– Wine Vranac – 3 euros,

- Well, what about without cheese with mold for wine? – 1.5 euros.

Seafood, unfortunately, we are not the cheapest; The fact is that there are few fish farms here. A lot of imported goods - from Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia. In recent years, Russian goods have also appeared, but to be more precise, goods with Russian names from Germany 🙂 But the Russian shelf is replenished and goods from Russia itself appear, which, of course, is very pleasing. My main pain and passion - seeds - are sold for 3 euros per bag.
