So, we got into an 8-seater boat and set off on a three-hour trip around Skadar Lake. How beautiful it is here!

Подробную статью о Скадарском озере читайте здесь – Skadar Lake, Montenegro.

Проехав около часа, мы прибыли к острову, где проживает одинокий монах Филипп в монастыре “Ком”. Монастырь был построен примерно в 15 веке. Чувствуется, что здесь не часто бывает нога туриста 🙂
Philip was hospitable and treated us to different drinks - some juice, some beer 🙂

Philip usually leads his guests to church, reads a prayer, and then tells the story of the area. We somehow said goodbye to Philip and quickly ran to the boat - the day was getting closer to evening, but we still wanted to swim! We drove a little and stopped right in the middle of the lake. The water was so warm that it was impossible not to swim, although the sun was no longer scorching. We swam enough and headed back. The sun was setting and the lake became even more beautiful. Majestic mountains were reflected in the water surface, as in a real mirror; it was difficult to distinguish where the real mountains are, and where just a reflection!
