give birth (see on Montenegro map) - is located in the farthest eastern part of Montenegro and borders on Kosovo. This is a fairly developed town with a population of just under 10 thousand. He, like other cities surrounding him, is completely unexplored by the ordinary tourist. The thing is that Rozaje is far from the coast; therefore, only the most notorious connoisseurs of natural beauty and eco-tourism reach these places.
The vast majority of people living here are Bosniaks; therefore, the presence of two cultures is felt - Muslim and Christian, which, however, coexist peacefully.

A bit of history

Settlements in the Rozaje area have existed for a long time, so here you can meet the remains of the Illyrian, Greek, Roman and Slavic eras. During the Turkish rule, these lands completely belonged to the Turks.
The city itself was founded in 1883 and named after the old church of Ruzice, built in the 13th century at the behest of Helena of Anjou, wife of the Serbian king Uros I.
