Kostanjica is a small, cozy fishing village on the shores of Boka Kotorska Bay, at the entrance to Risan Bay, near the Verige Strait. The Kamenare-Lepetane ferry is a few kilometers away, heading toward Morinj and Risan. On the opposite shore lies the ancient town of Perast. It's hard to say which place is more captivating: medieval Perast, with its stone vaults that still evoke the spirit of brave seafarers, or the two islands of St. George and St. Mary of the Rocks, located in the middle of the sea between Kostanjica and Perast.
In Kostanjica, you'll be greeted by the exceptionally clear sea, thanks to its "Morinjski jets," which mix it with numerous freshwater springs. You'll also find amazingly clean air, scented with laurel and plants such as chestnut, olive, and oleander. Kostanjica jealously guards its seclusion, yet is only a few kilometers from all the important sites in Boka.
