A friend from Moscow came to visit us. Today we decided to take him to Bar, to the Old Town. It has changed a lot since the last time we were here. now everything is buried in greenery and the smell of fragrant flowers spreads. By the way, there are a lot of poppies here! Here in Siberia (I don’t know how in other regions) they are maliciously destroyed, because. a drug is made from them and allegedly in this way it is possible to solve the problem of drug addiction. I even know that one elderly summer resident was fined because poppies were found in her garden.

Entrance to the Old Town still costs 2 euros. There are very few tourists. On the way back, on the advice of a local resident of Lubavitsa, we went to the Dino cafe - according to her, they cook the most delicious chevapchichi there. We ordered "mesano meso" (various types of meat) and a salad of "paradise" (tomatoes) and "krastavats" (cucumbers). Lubavitsa did not exaggerate at all - the meat was just great! "A lot of bite"! Perhaps this is the most delicious meat dish that I have tried in Montenegro. If you go in the direction from the Old Town, "Dino" is located on the main street on the right.
See photos of the Old Bar, local flora and cevapcici!

When we were here for the first time and saw these black gates, we thought that it was they that were of value 🙂 Today, having seen what is hidden behind them, we realized that they only serve as a cover and protection for what is inside))

Ancient frescoes depicting saints
poppies
Just an interesting plant 🙂

Walking around the citadel, we accidentally discovered an ancient toilet. It is a stone seat and a through hole. This is how the inhabitants of the citadel met their needs))
