On August 4th, a concert of Boka singing groups entitled "Festival klape 2012" took place at St. Nicholas Square in Perast, Montenegro. Bands from neighboring countries and Montenegro itself performed. They performed without music, just their voices. It was beautiful! This festival has been held as part of the program for several years now. Kotor Art, which includes a variety of interesting events for the entire season (you can see the schedule of these events on the website).
The festival featured a competition between female and mixed voices. This year, many folk songs were performed. – introduced us to local folklore, but we didn't quite understand the meaning of these songs.
