It's usually customary to write your first impression of the country you're visiting... Hmmm, that's not easy to do in my case. We just arrived today, and while there are very mixed feelings - there are large, majestic mountains around you, and literally five meters away is a clear, bright turquoise sea - such views are completely unusual for our Siberian gaze.
We arrived by ferry to the city of Bar, went through passport control and went ashore. The port building is nothing special. In general, it is worth noting that palaces are not built here from stations and ports, as is customary in Russia. With the help of local taxi drivers who swarm around us, we phoned the person who brought our car for rent - we rented it for the first time (for a month), until we get our own car, since the prices here are much nicer than Russian ones 🙂
So, we stopped in a town with a pleasant name Dobrota (emphasis on the first syllable) - a small, quiet and cozy town located on the shores of the Bay of Kotor, one of the most unpolluted and beautiful fjords in the world. It is now the end of February, and flowers are already beginning to bloom here and the sun is warming like we have in Siberia in June-July. During the day, you can walk in light sweaters, and in the evening, when the sun hides, it becomes quite cool (you should buy a blanket so that you can wrap yourself in it and sit on the terrace in the evenings and enjoy the views!)
