It's almost the end of September, but the weather on the Montenegrin coast is showing no signs of letting up. The sun shines almost every day, with daytime temperatures reaching 30 degrees Celsius and nighttime lows reaching 20 degrees Celsius. Overall, the nights are very, very comfortable. Just yesterday, we spent half the night enjoying the local Vranac and the view of the glowing Kotor Fortress from the village of Muo, on the opposite side of the Bay of Kotor.

In September, the main cities of Montenegro see fewer tourists, allowing you to enjoy the peace and quiet, long walks, and long trips that were difficult to endure in the heat of –—a true velvet season. Some people still swim in the Bay of Kotor, but they're mostly tourists. 🙂 With the season over, prices for services and accommodations have dropped, which is doubly pleasant. Local cafes are slowly unveiling their "winter menu," and the prices are especially attractive!
Now there is a feeling that there are more of our compatriots, many are moving to Montenegro for permanent residence, Montenegro is increasingly attracting Russians with its excellent climate, central location in Europe and adequate prices. Many posters and posters appeared on the street in support of the accession of Montenegro to Europe, and this is understandable, according to one high-ranking European official, in the very near future, after Croatia, Montenegro will join Europe, wait and see.
Seven months after our move, we are still very, very happy that we decided to take this step – to fulfill our childhood Siberian dream of living in a warm and beautiful country 🙂
