Dear friends, greetings from Montenegro! We apologize for not writing about life in Montenegro in so long. It was a very hot summer, and now we're still enjoying a very warm autumn with gentle sunshine, so there's absolutely no desire to stay indoors! 🙂
Despite its small size, Montenegro boasts a wealth of unusual and mysterious places that we discover year after year. One such place is the abandoned Mamula Fortress on a lonely island off the Luštica Peninsula. Did you know that this fortress harbors something terrifying and sinister? Only the bravest travelers would dare to visit it! 🙂 For more accurate information about the horror lurking within this fortress, watch the horror film "Mamula"! I warn you in advance: it's best not to watch it for the faint of heart or children. 🙂 It's also best not to watch it for anyone, as the nervous system never recovers!
But if you have nerves and the sea is knee-deep, then go ahead! And before watching the movie, you will be interested to see my photo selection of this place 🙂
And now let's take a look at the fortress itself:

Not far from the island there are several secret caves, one of them is known as the Blue Cave. Be sure to swim there if you are not afraid :))
And for those who are ready to see the fortress with their own eyes, welcome to our unusual excursion – Through olive groves to the Austro-Hungarian fortress and home table
