Dear friends, we welcome you from Montenegro! We apologize for not writing anything about life in Montenegro for so long. It was a very hot summer, and now there is still a very warm autumn with gentle sun - so there is absolutely no desire to sit at home!
In Montenegro, despite its small size, there are many unusual and mysterious places that we discover year after year. One such place is the abandoned Mamula fortress on a lonely island near the Lustica peninsula. Do you know that this fortress is fraught with something terrible and sinister? And only the most courageous traveler dares to visit it!
More reliable information about the horror that hides in this fortress, you can get from the horror movie "Mamula"! I warn you in advance - it’s better not to watch it for the faint of heart and children
and in general it’s better for no one to watch it, because the nervous system is not restored!
But if you have nerves and the sea is knee-deep, then go ahead! And before watching the movie, you will be interested to see my photo selection of this place

And now let's take a look at the fortress itself:
During the Second World War, the Nazis used this fortress as a prison.
Just a deep well in which no one lives now ... Probably.
Here you can walk even little girls!
On a stone spiral to the unknown
Guess what it is?
It was impossible to escape from this prison, because. island, 200 meters in diameter, surrounded by water
The dark walls of the prison fortress
Unsuspecting tourists are being taken to the island...
A completely ordinary boatman will kindly take you to the island
Not far from the island there are several secret caves, one of them is known as the Blue Cave. Be sure to swim there if you are not afraid :))
