Dear friends!

Please forgive me for the unthinkably long silence! Quite we here twirled, spun; This season has been a lot of work. But now I finally have time (until next summer 🙂) to continue the story of our life in Montenegro.

We've had a lot of guests this year, both tourists and our friends and family. This summer, like many other countries, wasn't the hottest; it was pleasant for us, but not quite hot enough for beach lovers. For active tourists looking to explore different parts of Montenegro, it was perfect. Incidentally, tourists are still coming, as the temperature is still hovering around 25-28°C.

A couple of days ago, our guests from Kazan, who were visiting Montenegro for the second year in a row, left. Despite our busy schedule, we managed to organize a wine tour for them, and let's face it, for us too 😉! Autumn is the perfect time to get acquainted with Montenegrin wines, because you can see the entire winemaking process and even participate in it yourself! I've never tasted such delicious wine as at private wineries.
In addition to wine tasting, we also had a breathtaking lunch (in a good sense of the word!) and an easy walk through the old village. From one of the mountains, on which we climbed, the whole old Montenegro was visible, i.e. that Montenegro, which in ancient times did not yet have a coast.

So, I present to your attention a small photo report on our wine tour for Valera and Milyausha 🙂

While exploring the surrounding area, we visited a rural church complex. The Church of St. Cosmas and Damian contains ancient church manuscripts dating back to the 15th century. These manuscripts will likely have to be transferred to a museum for safekeeping. The church is extremely humid, and moisture is detrimental to such ancient writings.
