On August 4, the Kotor Carnival took place, the second this year (the first took place in March)! There were many people; in order to take a picture at least, I had to abruptly get out of the crowd, quickly take pictures and climb back in, because the businesslike law enforcement officers constantly “pushed” everyone into their place.
It seemed to me that the March carnival, in comparison with this, was somehow larger. However, those who saw the Kotor carnival for the first time liked the August carnival very much. If you are in Montenegro in August, be sure to come to the carnival, Bokelsky nights and other events - there is always something interesting happening here!

So, look what happened!

It would be interesting to note that Montenegrins come to all holidays with children. In general, they have a special relationship with children, they love them very much, and almost every family has at least 2-3 children. It is not uncommon to see men walking with their children. Therefore, even at the carnival, which began at 9 pm, all the children from the Kotor region came 🙂

On holidays, it is not customary for them to drink, or rather, to stand with bottles on the street, as we do in Russia. Therefore, there are never any drunken fights or garbage at the end of the holiday.

The ubiquitous facebook has reached Montenegro 🙂
