We returned from Russia a week ago. How nice it was to return to warm, cozy and small Montenegro.
In Moscow, quite by accident we got to the light show, which took place on the Kremlin square. Very beautiful, but not enough) It lasted 10-15 minutes, no more.
The last slide was the phrase "welcome" in different languages; what was our surprise when the first phrase was "welcome"! Montenegro does not leave us here either! 🙂 Try to find this phrase in the photo)
Everyone likes to remember the hackneyed phrase in relation to the minuses of Russia - "fools and roads." After our trip, I would rephrase it like this - "drunks and roads." Because we lived in Montenegro for more than six months, we had something to compare with. For the first time I clearly saw that there are a lot of drinkers in Russia. They are literally everywhere. We were “lucky” to take a bus from Moscow to Saratov, so we were surrounded all the way by a horde of drunkards who tried to entertain us with video jokes from their mobile all night long. Brrr!
I don't remember seeing at least one drunk person in Montenegro (well, I'm not counting the few drunk Russian tourists 🙂)! It seems to me that this is the main problem in Russia - people drink a lot and do not want to work. Therefore, all the villages are bent here. You will drive through the Montenegrin villages: neat houses, clean meadows, excellent roads; but the people here are not richer than the Russian people, and the state, like the Russian one, does not help much.
Montenegrins love to drink brandy, some even drink it in the morning, afternoon and evening, but one glass at a time.
One Montenegrin friend of ours said: “Why do you Russians not drink for a whole week, and then on the weekends you get so drunk that you don’t remember anything?” 🙂
The weather in Montenegro right now is great - sunshine every day, but not hot, so now is the best time to explore the country!
