Durmitor National Park is located in the heart of the country, and the road to it lies along mountain serpentines, through spacious meadows surrounded by mountains, and past seemingly toy houses scattered over the hills. Durmitor is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, 390 km2 of breathtaking beauty. This plateau is covered with forests and meadows, cut by gorges and underground rivers, and looking at it from the height of the eternally snow-capped mountains one can see lakes, streams and springs gushing from the ground.
This excursion is one-day and takes place on a shortened route, because. Durmitor is located at a fairly decent distance from the coast.
During the tour we:
1. We will enjoy great views, which open from the mountains, meadows and fields, which you will not find on the coast.
2. Let's visit Mr. Zabljak – известный горнолыжный курорт, который не менее интересен и в летнее время: чистейший воздух, аромат хвойных деревьев и аккуратные улочки с деревянными домами. Пообедаем в национальном ресторане «Stari Vuk» («Старый волк»), где подают традиционный дурмиторский стейк.
3. Walk through Durmitor park (where you can ride bicycles, children's cars, and velomobiles); we swim in the Black Lake, which differs from others in its unique emerald color and is so clear that it can be seen up to 9 meters deep; visit Snake Lake and much more.
4. We will have dinner at the Yavorovach restaurant on the outskirts of Zabljak (the restaurant has many playgrounds for children, you can also ride horses).
ATTENTION: the road to the park takes 3.5 hours. If you will be with children, take everything you need with you in advance so that they can comfortably endure the trip. There will be many serpentine roads on the way, if you get very sick on such roads, we advise you to prepare in advance for the excursion or take it one of the last ones when you get used to the Montenegrin serpentine.
The cost of a tour in a sedan, regardless of the number of people, is – 250 euro/car, i.e. with the number of 4 people, the cost of the tour for each is only 62.5 eurosThe cost of a minivan excursion, regardless of the number of people, is –. 350 euro/car, i.e. with the number of 6 people, the cost of the tour for each is no more than 58 euros.
