If you've already completed the pilgrimage to Montenegro's holy sites, why not visit the neighboring country – Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is spiritually inextricably linked with Montenegro? It was here that Vasilije of Ostrog (the founder of Montenegro's most significant monastery, Ostrog) was born and began his spiritual journey. We will follow the same path as the young monk Vasilije (later Metropolitan) in the 17th century.
In addition, you will get acquainted with the nature of Bosnia: here you will not see such grandiose mountains as in Montenegro, but it will conquer you with its most beautiful giant valleys, clear rivers and green hills.

So, throughout one day tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina We:

1. Let's visit monastic complex Hercegovachka-gracanitsa, from where a panoramic view of Trebinje and the ancient Turkish Arslanagic bridge opens;

2. Let's walk along old part of Trebinje, where you can see proof of the "city of three religions" title: a Muslim mosque, a Catholic church, and an Orthodox church. You can also try delicious Bosnian ice cream here.

3. Let's visit the famous Tvrdos monastery and its wine cellars, and we will be able to take home a piece of the work of the Tvrdoš monks. In addition to a number of shrines, the monastery of Tvrdosh is famous for its wine cellars of the 15th century, where the monks produce wines of the Vranac variety and others from their own grapes (including sweet wine without added sugar) and even their own cognac - these cellars are open for visiting and tasting.

4. Let's visit Monastery of Zavala, where Vasily Ostrogsky, while still a novice, began his spiritual path (you must have already been to the Montenegrin monastery Ostrog, the founder of which was the monk Vasily later). Vasily Ostrozhsky, one of the main saints of the Serbian Orthodox Church, was born in Bosnia on – in the small village of Mrkonjići, near the Tvrdoš monastery.

5. If you have strength left, and an empty stomach still does not remind of itself, then we will make our way along the unique wind cave "Vetryanitsa", the longest known cave in the Balkans, and experience the true speleology of –. The total length of the cave is 25 kilometers, and the first 500 meters of tunnels are open to tourists! Visiting – is optional.
