Skadar Lake – the largest and one of the most picturesque lakes in the Balkans – we invite you to plunge into the history of this unique place, surrounded by the natural beauties of an unspoiled nature reserve and take a refreshing dip in the lake! So getting to know Skadar lake we will start with a panoramic view of the delta of the river flowing into it and the lake itself.
Our itinerary:
— We will go to a very cozy, small town of Riek Crnojevic on the banks of the picturesque river of the same name and learn that it was here that the first printing house in the Balkans was located!
- From here we are waiting for an exciting boat trip to a lonely island, which is located in the middle of the lake and on which the Kom monastery is located! The monastery houses the only church on Lake Skadar, dedicated to the Assumption of the Mother of God, in which frescoes of the 15th century have been preserved. This monastery was supposedly erected at the beginning of the 15th century, becoming the first residence of Ivan Tsrnoevich.
- On the return trip, you can swim in the lake: from the shore or jump from the boat in the middle of the lake!
The culmination of our journey will be dinner at a local national restaurant "Konak Peryanik", where you can taste delicious dishes from freshly prepared lake eel!
The tour is conducted on comfortable cars of the minivan or sedan class (depending on the number of people). The cost of the tour by car type "sedan" regardless of the number of people - 190 euro/car, i.e. with the number of 4 people, the cost of the tour for each is only 47.5 euros. The cost of the tour by car type "minivan" regardless of the number of people - 270 euro/car, i.e. with the number of 6 people, the cost of the tour for each is total no more than 45 euros.
